Dear Hiring Manager,

With over 5 years of experience in pre-sales and cybersecurity, I have a proven track record of designing and demonstrating solutions that address complex security challenges. My expertise in web application firewalls, API security, and cloud technologies aligns perfectly with the requirements of this role.
In my previous role, I successfully delivered technical presentations and proof-of-concepts that resulted in major client wins. I am adept at using consultative selling methodologies to understand customer needs and articulate value. I am also experienced with AWS, Azure, and containerization technologies.
I am eager to bring my technical skills and sales passion to Thales to help drive growth in the West region. Thank you for considering my application.

Sample interview questions
I have over 5 years working with WAFs from vendors like Cloudflare and Akamai, and I've implemented API security using tools like Postman and OWASP ZAP. I regularly conduct threat modeling and ensure compliance with OWASP Top 10.
I start by understanding their current security posture and pain points. I ask about their infrastructure, compliance needs, and specific challenges. Then I tailor the conversation to show how our solution addresses those needs, often preparing a demo scenario in advance.
I led a POC for a large e-commerce client migrating to AWS. They had concerns about latency and false positives. I configured the WAF to optimize performance and adjusted rules based on their traffic patterns. I provided detailed results showing minimal impact, which convinced them.
I have hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda) and Azure (VMs, App Services). I've deployed containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, and integrated security tools within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab.
I subscribe to industry blogs, attend webinars from SANS and OWASP, and participate in CTF challenges. I also maintain certifications like CISSP and AWS Security Specialty, and I regularly test new tools in a home lab.
